Your Editor to Conduct Sunday Service
Author: Hugh H. Morgan
Last Sunday, February 5. Rev. Craig Topple, chaplain for St. Mary's Highland Hills Village, informed those who gathered for worship in our assissted living unit that he would not be here this coming Sunday. He and some of his close male friends are going canoeing and camping next weekend at the The Okefenokee Swamp. This swamp is a shallow, 438,000-acre, peat-filled wetland straddling the Georgia–Florida line in the United States. A majority of the swamp is protected by the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge and the Okefenokee Wilderness.
I ask that you pray for me as I am seeking the Lord for the message He would have me give to these dear people who are in the twight-light years of living. One lady is 99 years old and loves to worship and serve God. I never dreamed that an invitation to conduct the Sunday worship service would be so soon. It is an open door God has apparently opened, and I want to walk through it with His direction and anointing to minister in His Name. Thank you for praying for me. In so doing, you will be a part of the ministry God is providing for me to the residents of assisted living at St. Mary's Highland Village in Watkinsville, Georgia, which is near Athens, Georgia.
