Ephesians 3:20-21
20 Now to Him Who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
NIV (New International Version)
[Editor's comment: It is little wonder that Moses in writing the Book of Deuternoromy closes his vast book of the Pentateuch with a song Moses had written, and a chapter of blessings of the Children of Israel, and he calls each one of them by name. Singing and blessings.
That is what I have been doing in Hugh's News now for some 21 years.
I love to sing, and I love to sing hymns, Gospel songs, spiritual songs, new songs being birthed in the church that have good theology based on the Word of God.
Today's benediction, written by the Apostle Paul and recorded in the New International Version speaks so eloquently of what God can and is doing to bless us.
Read the words slowly . . . meditate on each phrase . . . and memorize this awesome blessing or benediction:
Now to Him Who is able . . .
able to do immeasurably more than all . . .
we ask or imagine . . .
according to His power that is at work within us . . .
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations . . .
for ever and ever! Amen.
Our God is more than able to do immeasurably more than all we could ever ask, imagine, or hope for.
I know I need His help daily in my life and in the life of my precious and beloved wife, Melvine. He is so good
to us, and the longer we serve Him we experience His continued love and peace and joy in abundance. What a blessed Redeemer and Savior.
Do you know Him?
You know you can and today is the right time to give your life and all that you have to Him for time and eternity.
When you call upon the Lord to save you by His grace through faith, thank Him for saving your soul.
I would be honored and greatly blessed if you would write me and tell me about your New Birth experience. My email address is: hugh@hughsnews.com
I promise to write you back.
