1 Corinthians 2:14-16
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

[Editor's Comment: These versed of Scripture are vital to the born again and Spirit-filled Christian. There are things we can only know through the Spirit. God has revealed things to me that I had not clue in my mind. The things He revealed gave me an advantage by being able to say, "No."
Praying in the Spirit, in tongues, followed by asking God for the interpretation, has helped me to know in advance what to expect and how to respond according to the Will of God.
I wish I could tell you that I have always been able to do that. The truth is I haven't, and I confess my weakness in that area.
Paul tells us that the natural man (unsaved) does not receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are spiritually discerned. Let us ask God for discernment in the relationships we have formed. It will be amazing how God will reveal to you the pitfalls that are ahead if you stay in relationship with a person not tuned to putting God first in his life.
As we seek the presence of Christ and put Him first, God will give to us the Mind of Christ.
Philippians 2:5-14 The Apostle Paul speaks to the Mind of Christ
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name:
10 That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
