This morning I spent some time in reading Psalm 65. Let me share a portion of it with you:
Psalm 65:11-13
11 You crown the year with Your goodness,
And Your paths drip with abundance.
12 They drop on the pastures of the wilderness,
And the little hills rejoice on every side.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks;
The valleys also are covered with grain;
They shout for joy, they also sing.
NKJV
Abundance is everywhere, if we will endeavor to look and see by faith what God has in store for us.
God opened the eyes if the psalmist, no doubt King David, to see the abundance God had provided all around him. I remember reading that the prophet Elisha prayed that God would open the eyes of his servant to see the invisible Army of angels God dispatched to protect him and his servant from the Assyrian Army.
Today, you may be wondering how you are going to pay your monthly bills or how you will ever get out of debt. You may have other extenuated circumstances that seem overwhelming and there seems to be no solution. God wants you to look to Jesus for the answer to your problem, Through it all you can completely depend upon the Lord. Place your trust in Jesus today.
You, too, can shout for joy and sing a new song about the victory God has given you.
