Will You Receive the Benediction?

I was reading in the Bible, where I sometimes read, specifically in the Book of Amos who said in Amos 4:12, "Prepare to meet your God." I had memorized that verse of Holy Scripture as a child. That verse grabbed my attention early on in life. I often ask myself, "Hugh are you prepared to meet the God I know in Holy Scriptures?"  I desire to keep short accounts with God, and make sure every sin is covered by the blood of Jesus.  I desire holiness of heart and life. Every day I reaffirm my trust in the righteousness of Jesus as my Redeemer, Savior, Lord and King. I am trusting the cleansing blood of Jesus to make me whole.
Our nation desperately needs God. He is our only hope. We must pray for a spiritual awakening and a true revival of repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
I love the Book of Amos and the language he uses to describe justice and righteousness.  We need righteousness, mercy, kindness, and justice, and possibly a lot more.
One of the best Scriptures that I have ever read about justice and righteousness is recorded in Amos 5:24. Let me quote it from various translations and paraphrases:
Amos 5:24
24 But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream!
NIV

Amos 5:24
24 But let justice run down like water,
And righteousness like a mighty stream.
NKJV

Amos 5:24
Let justice flow like a stream, and righteousness like a river that never goes dry.
TEV

Amos 5:24
24 But let justice run down like waters and righteousness as a mighty and ever-flowing stream.
AMP

Amos 5:24
4 Do you know what I want?
I want justice — oceans of it.
I want fairness — rivers of it.
That's what I want. That's all I want.
