Psalm 37:23-24
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
NKJV
My prayer today is that we who love Jesus and want to do His Will for our lives
will be walking daily in the path He has for us to walk.
We need His grace and glory to keep us from falling, and that He will reach
out and uphold us with His powerful nail pierced hand. Jude in his tiny book gives these encouraging words, 24 "Now unto Him Who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25 "To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen" (KJV).
We read in the Book of Revelation these words in chapter 1 and verse 20, "The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand . . . are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches" (NKJV).
Apparently, the stars are the pastors of the churches. He holds them in his right hand and near His heart. The heart of Jesus is world evangelism. He came into our world to die for sinners and save them.
