Wesley Russ and I communicate almost daily by phone and by email.
In an email on Thursday night of this week Wesley gave the following update:
Thanks for keeping the IPHC family informed about Janice's condition.
Janice rested well last night and back to sleep after the morning feeding.
Dr. Joyce Thomas, a noted dermatologist and personal friend from Athens, Georgia, and Mrs. Linda Thomas, Chair of the Emmanuel College Board of Trustees who resides in North Carolina, were in touch yesterday. Linda Thomas said she appreciated Hugh's News for keeping everyone informed asked me to continue calling you with updates.
We had visitors until 7:30 last night. Janice finally became so fatigued she had to go to bed and left the company to me. Janice tires quickly. I can see that I will have to keep close watch and when Janice needs to rest, I will put her to bed. I can always talk with guests.
As with all things in this life, there is a process. With microwaves it doesn't take much time, but still--you know. Friday we go for the PET scan and then to the surgeon on Monday--thorough rush hour traffic even! We will hear what she offers and go from there.
Have a great day and rest when you can.
Wesley
[Editor's comment: It is my belief that God's Word is at work in Janice's body, driving out all manner of sickness and disease,And creating in Janice's body a perfect cure, for the Glory of God, the good of Janice, and for a testimony of God’s compassion, love and mercy, His healing power, and His Saving grace!
I am reminded of a chorus we used to sing often in church: "God specialized in things thought impossible and He can do for you what no other power can do." Our God is the God of the impossible.
Now is the time for all of us to join hearts and pray fervently with trusting faith believing that God is performing a miracle of healing for Janice Robinson Russ.]
