This Wednesday, November is Veterans Day. It is a special day when we can give special attention and focus on the brave men and women of these United States who have served with honor and distinction in the Armed Forces of the greatest nation in the world.
It is important that we show our gratitude to these young Americans who have volunteered to serve our country to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States and if necessary to give their lives in service to God and country to preserve our freedoms.
As the editor of Hugh's News, I am always interested in what our local IPHC churches are doing, as well as those churches with other faith groups or denominations.
Pastor Rick Haug sent the following photo of what they did at Living Word Church in the Cornerstone Conference for Veterans Day on Sunday, November 8. He gives the credit to Karen Arndt of their congregation for designing their annual display of vets from their church family.
