Once again, my good friend, Stan Oliver from Royston, GA, called yesterday to alert me that Vernon Synan is in great need of our prayers. Stan is one of the many reporters who communicate the news to this editor.
I immediately called Phyllis Sparks Synan, Vernon's wife of almost 56 years. Here is her report:
"This is day 37 of Vernon's hospital stay. Yesterday his doctor said he would be placed on dialysis, but his nurse called this morning and said he had improved during the night, so no dialysis now. All his stats look better and the antibiotics seem to be working to clear the bladder infection. He was put back on the ventilator for now, but the doctor does not think it will be for long. We are thankful for each prayer, card, and call we have received. Keep up the prayers. Vernon wants to be up and about his Father's business. I witnessed to his doctors and told them we had a prayer network that reached around the world. PTL for all who take part in Hugh's News! Much love to each of you, Phyllis Sparks Synan
Let us mobilize our intercessors and prayer warriors to call upon the God of heaven Who is present with Vernon Synan in the intensive care unit at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta to ask the Father in the Name of Jesus to completely heal Vernon Synan.
