Melvine's Appointment with her cardiologist was at 1 p. m. on Tuesday, November 27. I had prepared a document of Melvine's vital signs, blood pressure, heart rate, and blood sugar for the month of November to give the doctor. I keep accurate records of this daily measurements for her. I, also, gave him a list of all her prescribed medications and who prescribed them.
Melvine's blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen level is good. She will not have to see her cardiologist, Dr. Amit D. Shah, MD, until February 2019.
Melvine continues to struggle with a cough. I have tried to contact our family doctor Monday and Tuesday. I finally discovered that our doctor was out of the office on Tuesday. It is my opinion Melvine needs an antibiotic. If I don't get satisfaction on Wednesday morning, I will contact Melvine's oncologist whom I believe can do that for her, and will be it done immediately.
After seeing our cardiologist, I took Melvine to Cracker Barrel to each a late lunch and an early supper. We got their meatloaf special with veggies. It was good.
I brought Melvine home and she took a nap and slept well.
I took Melvine's vital signs, prepared her meds and now she is asleep in bed. I will join her shortly.
Thank you for your prayers and all the get-well cards. She loves reading every card, and she treasures them so much.
It's going to be very cold tonight. It is going down to 27 degrees. That's cold and it penetrates, too.
We are thankful for a warm home that is well insulated.
