He searched for the fragments, the scraps,
the pieces of cloth
of little worth.
He found them;
He found me.
with His hands He joined me with others,
threading us together with His intricate love.
He is the Quiltmaker.
once worthless, I am His;
now one of
many diverse squares
made one by
the Quiltmaker.
together we are lovely.
[Editor's Comment: What a joy it is for me to have a wonderful young friend like Chris Maxwell. He is an excellent communicator and God is giving to the IPHC young men with a fresh, new style of preaching and communicating the truth of the Gospel. I enjoy reading his books, his poems, hearing him speak and preach. Most of all, he is a man of God who walks and talks daily with Jesus, and he is filled with the Holy Spirit.
