The Apostle Paul wrote these words about faith:
2 Timothy 4:6-8
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
KJV
Melvine was just super during Christmas. She prepared our Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Jeanette Phillips and Greg Morgan helped her. However, she was almost exhausted. The energy and work took its toll on Melvine's body.
For several days she has complained about unrelenting pain and has asked for another pain pill. I have not given her a pill we have that is prescribed and it is morphine. I don't like what it does to her. So, we are on a lesser pain pill.
She told me she wants to see the doctor. We made that claim to Nurse Carol on Friday. Carol told her the pain is the cancer that is growing inside your abdomen. I told Carol we are trusting God to destroy that cancer.
We believe whatever need we might have it is covered in the Word of God. His Word is forever settled. It is settled and stands firm.
By His stripes we were, we are healed. No doubt about it!
Melvine has been healed according to God's Word. Therefore, sickness and disease must go in the Name of Jesus.
I am making progress from my total left knee surgery on Monday, December 16. My therapist, Donna, came today. She is one of the best of the best physical therapists I have had. She has exercises I can do and although it hurts, I know that without pain there is no gain. I am walking more.
Greg takes good care of Melvine and me.
Continue to pray for us. We need your prayers.
We depend upon God to meet our every need.
