The Emmanuel College Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams Rank Highly in the NCCAA

     FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA--The Emmanuel College Men's and Women's Basketball teams have both been featured in the NCCAA Top Ten National Rankings list, which were announced on December 7, 2015.
     The Men's team is 5-1 on the season so far, and ranks at number 4 in the nation, after they finished up their 2014-15 campaign ranked in the seventh spot. They are also the most highly ranked NCCAA Men's team in the South Region, with Warner University from Florida trailing them, ranked 8th in the nation. The EC men have several players featured highly in the individual rankings
     Zach Lillie, 2nd in the nation for field goal percentages, 8th in the nation for average points per game
     Steven Guinchard, 3rd in the nation for 3pt percentage
     Kendrick Colvin, 4th in the nation for steals per game
     Elijah Robinson, 5rd in the nation for blocks per game
     Austin Greene, 6th in the nation for assists per game
The men will take the court December 10th when they take on King University in Tennessee at 7:30 pm
     The Emmanuel Women's team has also had a positive start to the season, with a 5-1 record placing them at number 6 in the nation. This comes on the back of a successful 2014-15 season that saw them rise to 4th place in the nation. The Women's team is ranked number 1 in the nation for free throw percentage, and is 8th in the nation for field goal percent, as well as also having a number of standout individual statistics:
     Addie NcNeely, 2nd in the nation for 3pt%,
     Avery Scarbrough Ranked 2nd in the nation for FT%
     Timia Reynolds, 4th in the nation for FG%
     Alisia Fagin, 4th in the nation for steals per game, and 6th in the nation for assists per game
     Elise Coberly, 4th in the nation for PPG, 5th in the nation for FG%, 6th in the nation for rebounds per game
     Keeley Chester 5th in the nation for blocks per game 
The Women will be back in action December 10th, as they travel to King University in Tennessee, the game set for 5:30 pm
