COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- The Emmanuel College Clay Target Shooting team had a very impressive performance at the ACUI Clay Target Western International Conference Championships this past week.
In the Men's division, Senior Mark Beardsley tied with Logan Bankard from Wyoming with a score of 220. In order to determine a champion, the two were thrown into a shoot-off with 10 bunker and 10 skeet targets. Again the two remained tied, forcing them into sudden death. Mark missed his shot and Bankard prevailed, however they were both honored.
In the Women's division, Stephanie Beardsley claimed the overall high score.
With a very impressive perfromance from the Lions, they were able to take first in High Team Skeet, and second in Team Trap. Congrats to the Clay Target Team on their exceptional performance.
