Last Thursday, April 7, 2016, I met with my cardiologist, Dr. Clay Chappell. His staff weighed me, took my vital signs and recorded them, and did an EKG. Dr. Chappell checked me over. Since I had my pacemaker my left arm and hand are swollen, as well as my left foot. I have experienced some pain in my left carotid artery.
At my exam I weighed 313.8 pounds. My pulse rate was 83 beats/minute; pulse rhythm was regular, and my blood pressure was 128/84. The EKG was normal.
So, next Tuesday, April 12, I will enter St. Mary's Hospital as an outpatient to have a limited Echo Cardiogram to take a look-see at my left arm and hand. There is a possibility I may have a blood clot. He listened to the blood flow in the carotid arteries. I will have a carotid artery scan of both arteries.
Therefore, I want to ask that you pray for me, and that you request prayer in your church as well as among your family members and friends who believe in prayers as you have opportunity.
