No one is exempt from problems. I believe it is a part of the human predicament. The Apostle Paul admonishes us not to allow any problem to create anxiety in us.
Here is what he wrote to the church at Philippi in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV).
Last week, Hugh's News failed to get published three times due to technical problems beyond my ability to solve. My Webmaster, Mel Tinney who resides in Pepin, WS. has been working on the problems. I am confident that Mel will get it all worked out in due season. In the meantime, the news that needs to be published has not been published by Hugh's News in a timely manner.
We have our Internet, Television, and Telephone services with Comcast Cable. Last week, Xfinity sent a technician and he had to replace our high definition modem replaced for our television. He said he had to do several such units. Our telephone had gone out twice last week. On Saturday a technician from Comcast came and worked for two hours to correct an internal wiring problem due to the failure of our electrician who did not connect the telephone and fax line properly. Consequently, it was knocking out our telephone service. Thank God our telephone system is working now, and our television.
I hope you will get this this Hugh's News today. I don't guarantee it. I hope it works.
We work very hard to make Hugh's News first class. It takes a lot of work to plan, lay out, write and organize each issue of Hugh's News. I often make mistakes which I fail to catch. We call them blind spots simply because we cannot see them. I can see the errors others make faster than my own. I often fail to live up to my own expectations, and I can tell you they are high. It is my desire to give you the best in Christian journalism.
