We are sincerely praying for the Potter family! They have been very special to me since the early days of my ministry career.
In 1968 I became pastor to the Potter brothers' parents, Mr. Mark & Mrs. Hannah Potter. They were congregants of the New Bern First Pentecostal Holiness Church. I always enjoyed great fellowship with the Potter family. The Lord has used them to bless me & my family for these many years.
Your Prayers are needed for Bishop Wesley Potter--May 8
Bishop Leroy Baker has been faithful to report on the health situation of our dear brother Bishop Wesley Potter. He served as the superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic Conference for a number of years, and pastored the Baltimore P. H. Church known as Kingsway Christian Way Center.
Wesley has been moved to an intermediate center for rehab and medical care. He has some special health issues that needs healing. We want to pray that the doctors and those who treat him will be able to bring a successful resolution to his medical problems with better attention and care. He needs to be able to stand and walk and get exercise. He is a good man and has given his life in service to the Lord and His Kingdom and the church.
His precious wife, Peggie, needs our prayers. She is the primary care giver at this time. The new location is near where Wesley and Peggie have a home in Conroe, Texas.
Praise God for a network of Christians who read Hugh's News who are prayer warriors and intercessors. Let us make our voices to be heard in heaven. Nothing is impossible for God. He can heal the sick, raise the dead, and cleanse the lepers. Jesus in His Name. His Name is holy. His love and compassion are always available upon request. Jesus said, "And whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my Name, He may give it to you" (John 15:16b).
Thank you for praying for our brother in Christ, Wesley Potter, and his dear wife, Peggie Flowers Potter. Peggie is a sister to Lu Tunstall, wife of Dr. Frank Tunstall.
