Dr. Vinson Synan was teaching at Emmanuel College back in 1963 and I sat on the front row of his Government class. Some of us were complaining because we had class on New Year's Day. Dr. Synan was working on his Masters in History at UGA. We all loved his humorous, down-to-earth teaching style.
