In regards to Pastor Jeffress and the Freedom Sunday article:
Whereas the branch seals and probably other military symbols, etc. cannot/should not be displayed at other than official military functions, I am pretty sure the Pentagon cannot tell a church what to do. If it can, we are in for bad times ahead. And if it is true that one cannot display military seals, symbols, etc., much of America is in bad trouble as it is done routinely at unofficial events routinely across America at parades, memorials, etc. sponsored by non-military institutions.
Regulations and policies established by the Pentagon are only that, regulations and policies, and only apply to the military. They are not state, federal, or public law. It appears that ole Mickey got to the military again. I am also wondering how they got that picture with the branch seals in it if the church complied with the Pentagon. Pretty sure if the Pastor could have gotten legal assistance in time, that would have been overturned. Well, these are matters above most paygrades.
