Pastor Derrick Gardner reports on the progress of his dear Mother, Esther Gardner, hospitalized at Duke University Hospital

Thanks for the prayer for Mom.

As of Monday morning December 19th she is recovering in ICU at Duke. The surgeon said in 25 years he had never seen an injury like hers. The heart had actually been lacerated by the broken ribs and was the source of the bleeding. They were able to successful repair it, but she has required a lot of blood. Naturally she is in a lot of pain but her vitals are all stable.
