[Editor's Comment: It was privilege to meet John David Pugh in 1963 when I became the pastor of the Brownville Pentecostal Holiness Church near Evergreen, Alabama. As I recall John David had graduated from the Evergreen High School, and God had called him to preach. His family was involved in our church. It took a number of years for his father, Allen, before he became a Christian but his wife, Agnes, and their children never gave up praying for him. He finally gave his heart and life to Jesus before he died.
A number of years ago, I was invited to preach in a church in Houston, Texas. Because John David was a subscriber to Hugh's News he learned of my appointment to preach and he drove to the church to hear me preach and re-connect with me. What a joy it was to see and be with him again.
May God bless the memory of this Godly man.
