Shirley Anderson Moffett Johnson
Bette was married to my brother, Bill. She was more like a sister than a sister-in-law. I attended Southern College when Dr. W. R Corvin was president.
When our children were elementary school age we moved to OKC and attended Muse Memorial Church while Bill was pastor. I served with Bette there in different capacities and we also sang in the choir together.
After retirement my husband, Bill Moffett and I took a four month motorhome trip with Bill and Bette. The four of us in one motorhome for four months and we never once had a quarrel.
I will miss Bette more than can be imagined. I plan to go home with Bill for a couple of weeks following her burial. Rest in God's arms Bette.
