[Editor's Comment: I am grateful to the Rev. Dr. David Sparks for notifying me of the death of Mrs. Frances Swaim Haynes. She was an outstanding pastor's wife, a leader of the Women's Ministries of the conference, and a faithful member of the Flat Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mt. Airey, NC. It is a great church, and Pastor David Sparks has pastored there for some 22 years. I know that Pastor David Sparks and Dr. Bremdu Grasty will do a great joy as they conduct the memorial service for Mrs. Frances Swaim Haynes.
On behalf of Chaplains Ministries, IPHC. we want to thank Retired Navy Chaplain Michael Haynes for his many years of ministry and service to our Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard young men and women. Michael served with honor and distinction, and we are proud of his record of service to God, Country, and to our church. I salute Chaplain Michael Haynes. We want to honor Tina, too, for her support of Michael and her participation in his ministry.]
