Terry and Sharon Dixon
Such a sweet lady. Terry and Sharon Dixon. Friendship P.H. Church.

The Andersons were our pastors for the first l1 years we were married; Bro. Anderson dedicated our two daughters, and both prayed with us through Kristen's two bouts with meningitis, and I taught my first two years at Muse Memorial Christian School. During that time was when Jesse Winley held a six-week revival. God did some great things while we were at Muse. The Andersons also were a great support to us when my Mom had multiple surgeries at Bone & Joint, and visited my Dad when he had surgery in OKC, also. They were the 'ultimate' pastors to us. Later, when they moved to Hot Springs, we visited them twice (even went to Cowboy church with them). We are in a long list of people that have been influenced by this Godly couple.

I, too, attended Muse Memorial Church during the years that the Andersons pastored. I agree that he was one of the best pastors I have known. They were very attentive and everyone was like family. I enjoyed the worship and the fellowship there. Bette was truly a sweet person, always the same, and very devoted to ministry.

You may have already heard, but wanted to let you know that Bette Anderson passed away last night in Arkansas. I believe she had fallen recently and had developed complications from that fall. Don't know any details yet. There is some info on BILL AND BETTE ANDERSON facebook page. They were our pastors for about 20 years. We loved them so much.

Bette and Pastor Bill Anderson's tribute to our Stephanie
When our Stephanie Ellen Morgan died on August 3, 2012. Bette and Pastor Bill Anderson wrote this tribute to Stephanie that is printed in the bulletin that Arlette Revells designed and printed for her memorial service:
Our hearts are full of love and sympathy on the loss of our precious Stephanie. Prayers will sustain you and lift you up during the hours and days to come. Lean on the Lord and those around you and remember there are mountains of prayers surrounding you.
[Editor's Comment: It had been 37 years when our Stephanie Ellen Morgan died that Bette and Pastor Bill Anderson thought of us in our grief and sent such a lovely comforting word to Melvine, Greg, and me. They genuinely cared about their flock, and like a good shepherd protected and prayed for their sheep. They knew us all by name. What a legacy Bette Anderson leaves for us to follow.
Melvine and I wish we could be present for the memorial service for Bette Anderson on Thursday at River of Life Church. My hunch is that if you want a good seat, you will have to come early. There will be a great overflow crowd of people that will engulf the church and the grounds. I know that Pastor Richard Goad and the Rev. Dr. Dwight Burchett will do a great job. These are seasoned men and are gifted in ministering in times like these. I am sure the service will be uplifting, hopeful, and full of praise and worship of God. Jesus Christ will be honored and hearts will be greatly blessed.]
