J. Stanley Strickland: All of your friends are very glad that your right hip surgery went well and that you’re well along the road to recovery. And yes, better cooks can be found nowhere than among my first cousins in the Pearson family. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers for continued progress. By the way, J. Gregory has done an excellent job of keeping us posted on your status.
Arlette Revells: Welcome back Dr. Hugh!!!
Dan Beller: Greg, please tell my dear brother Hugh that all of us “fans” here in Tulsa and OK. City have been praying for him for him to have a speedy recovery and complete healing. Love & prayers, Dan Beller.
Lois H. Hoyle: So glad you are finally home and over that ordeal. Some of these surprises along the way are not welcome ones. Trust things go smoothly from here and you can get back to normal.
T. Elwood Long: Great report! We praise the Lord with you, Dr. Hugh, for your splendid progress. It is good to hear from you again. Your son, Greg, performed a gracious & informative report to your readers. Jean and I are praying for your continued recovery & healing. Please give Mrs. Morgan our greetings.
Doug Bartlett: We continue to pray for a speedy and successful recovery for Brother Morgan.
Pastor Virgil M. Seaber, Jr.: Dear Greg, thanks for your well stated update report on your dad's physical condition. I personally know the difficulty of trying to walk, suffering 24 hour constant uncomfortable disability and pain with lymphdema, deteriorating spine, heart damage, etc., having undergone surgeries, etc. I continue lifting Brother Hugh in prayer, believing God for his healing and recovery. I try not complain, trusting the Lord for healing as per His Word. God bless you and your wonderful family. I highly appreciate and thank God for the world flagship of Hugh's News. Please excuse any misspelling, Virgil of the IPHC MAC., yet pastoring at 83, by the help of the Lord, a great wife, local church support, and prayers of many friends. I am living in Florence, SC. Your mother and I were students at HBC, in the 50s. It is Not necessary to post this email of my personal sharing, and care for a dear friend.
Pamela Kesling: Greg, You are doing a great job filling in for Dr. Morgan. We are so glad he will be going home on Wednesday. We will continue to keep him in our prayers. It was good to see him on Friday evening. We miss you at church Dr. Morgan.
Lee Fuerst: What wonderful news! Give you Dad a big hug for me please.

Rev. Albert and Mary Maggard: Greg, we so much appreciate the updates about your dad. Added to the friends around the world who love and are praying for him are us here in Pampa, Texas. (Our church is in the Great Plains Conference and located in the panhandle of Texas.) We met your parents and had breakfast together in a motel dining room in Oklahoma City a few years ago while attending a reunion at Southwestern Christian University. We treasure their friendship and are keeping them both in our prayers.
Mary Anne Weeks: Glad to know your dad is doing so much better. We are snowed in also. Everette and I laughed and laughed at the bulletin comments. The one about "Don't let worry kill you, let the Church help" is so funny but sometimes true. Thanks for all the laughter to start our day.
Shalom, Mary Anne
P.S. I have a card for Hugh but have not gotten to the mail box for several days. I fell on the ice several weeks ago which made a believer of me about Black Ice hiding on the walkway. I guess you got the text of Lee delivering his baby girl at the ER Door before he could get Belecia into the hospital. All are well and coming home today.
Van Bloss: Greg, would you please give us an address for the rehab so we can send cards directly to him?
Rodney Callahan: Thanks for keeping us updated on your dad's status. I had partially knee replacement Aug. 18th and relate to the rehab process. My motto was: "No pain, no gain!" Please give him my wishes for a speedy recovery. God bless you for being a good son.
E. Leroy Baker: Thanks for the update we are keeping faith for a full recovery. Prayer for healing, blessings and encouragement for my big brother and his family.
RAMONA F READY: Greg, I have been following Hugh's activities for days-- and I am so sorry that he is having to follow this path, BUT, if it leads to recovery, PRAISE THE LORD FOREVERMORE!!
Please give him and your Mom my love and continued prayers. How very much I know the troublesome path of pain and discomfort of back pain, even after having surgery, neuropathy has plagued me. Bless Hugh, Melvine, and YOU, Greg. Love ALL you and your Family!!

Linda M Thomas: Glad to hear Hugh is improving. I had my hip replacement surgery on December 28th and am doing fine. Sorry he had a set-back, but I know he will do all within his power to make it a quick recovery. Praying for you all.
Judith Perez: Bro. Hugh...rest assured that we will be praying for you during your operation tomorrow and the following days. Certainly the rehab will require much PACIENCIA (patience)...but the Lord will cover all those moments, also. Our love and appreciation.

Frank Hamilton: Chaplain Morgan, this is Frank Hamilton, I was stationed at McChord AFB April 1966 to November 1969. I've thinking about you lately, and looked you up and your website online. About your surgery I pray you are doing well. You were transfered to Elmendorf AFB later. I still remember coming to your house occasionally with other airman.
Hope you and your family had wonderful CHRISTMAS and New Year.
