Mom Is the Proof That God Exists
A Mother's love is something that no one can explain.
It is made up of deep devotion, sacrifice and pain.
It is endless, unselfish and enduring come what may.
For nothing can destroy it or take love away.
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
and it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking.
It believes beyond believing when the world around condems.
It glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems.
It is far beyond defining and it defies all explanations.
It still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation.
A many spendoured miracle man cannot understand
and another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.
[Editor's comment: Someone gave this most inspiring poem about the prood that God exists in
a book marker some years ago. I had placed it in a drawer in my bedroom and found it this week.
It has no author on it. It is laminated. I thought you would love to read it. It reminded me of my
dear mother, Julia Payne Morgan.
