"Because He hath set His love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My Name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation" (Psalm 91: 14-16).
When I was director/endorser of Chaplains Ministries, IPHC for almost 16 years, I met the lady who came up with the idea of Psalm 91 Prayer Bandanas for our troops in battle. I caught on quickly and you graciously helped me purchase hundreds of those bandanas to give to our soldiers, Marines, and airmen. How our soldiers loved them and wore them in their helmets.
My mother often quoted Psalm 91 as it was one of her favorite Psalms. While being a missionary in China for some nine years in the midst of danger, 1920-1929, this Psalm became a source of comfort, protection, provision, and peace.
Although there are symptoms to the contrary in Melvine's body, we do not deny their existence, but believe God is greater than the effects of cancer, and He is healing and delivering Melvine from all cancer cells thats must go from her body. We are finding God to be closer to us in these times of pain and suffering and we are aware of His divine presence.
It was Alfred, Lord Tennyson who wrote: "Closer is He than breathing, and nearer than hands and feet." We are experiencing God to be here in this place where we live and move and have our being. Every step we take, every breath we breathe, He is with us.
Therefore, we have committed our lives and our future into His sovereign Hands assured that He knows best for us. We are at peace.
God is using you as a prayer warrior and your voice is being heard in heaven. He is answering your prayers on our behalf. That prayer partnership means so much to us.
Continue praying for us.
Have a blessed Sunday.
Your friend in all seasons,
