Janice and Wesley Russ Janice Robinson Russ is in need of your prayers of believing faith for her healing.
Janice's illness is the result of a cancer in her throat. Her journey toward healing has been like a roller coaster. She apparently has an infection in her body that the doctors have not been able to identify. She is experiencing spikes in her temperature above normal. She has a touch of pneumonia. Her body has weakened and she finds walking and climbing steps a real challenge. In the midst of it all, she accidently fell and broke her glasses and her face is swollen. Thus far, she has not been able to keep up with the schedule of having radiation treatments.
We know that only God can heal. We believe as Pentecostal Christians that God uses many delivery systems which includes medical doctors, medicine, drugs, chemo therapy, radiation, surgery, etc. It is a fact that Jesus received stripes in His body as he was brutally beaten unmercifully for our healing according to the Scriptures. We know how to claim those Scriptures for the healing of our bodies, and in this case for Janice:
Isaiah 53:4-5 These Scripture verses are speaking of Jesus the Messiah who was suffering for our healing and deliverance.
4 Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
