This Valentine's Day can be a renewal of your own spiritual life and the love for your spouse and family. Let it happen. And may God be glorified. Let us worship Him, Jesus Christ, Who is worthy of our praise, worship and adoration. It is only in Him can we find and have sustained life that is eternal and ever lasting.
On this Valentine's Day of 2016 may we fall in love with Jesus Christ all over again. Then, think deeply about the love that God has given to you for your spouse--husband . . . wife.
Let us read again what the Apostle Paul had to say about marriage and Christ and the church as is recorded in the Book of Ephesians:
Ephesians 5:31-33
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
KJV
And now the lyrics to "Great is Thy Faithfulness":
1 “Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.
“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided--
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!
2 Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
