Lu Tunstall Update
Author: Angela D. Tunstall
After a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Lula Mae Tunstall is making her way to her heavenly home. Hospice has told the family she only has days left with us in this body. She is surrounded by her loving husband, Frank, along with her children and grandchildren. Our hearts are broken but we are comforted with the knowledge that soon she will be free from this devastating disease and in the presence of Jesus Christ, the one she has loved and served her entire life.
What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see.
When I look upon His face;
The one who saved me by His grace.
When He takes me by the hand
And leads me to the promised land.
What a day, glorious day that will be.
By: Jim Hill, 1955.
[Editor's Comment: Join with me in praying for Lu (Baby Doll) Tunstall as Frank dearly calls her. God is still in control of life and healing. The same Holy Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead lives in Lu's spirit and is able to quicken her mortal body. However if she were to die it will be gain for her and not have to continue to live with Alzheimer’s.
Frank and Lu and their family are dear to me. I love them. I rejoice in knowing that Lu Tunstall is a child of God and that she loves Jesus with all her heart
