[Editor's Comment: It was my privilege and honor to serve Linda Gunter and her family as pastor of Tarkenton Memorial Church for nine years. I knew her as a highly intelligent Christian lady who was a disciple of Jesus Christ. She was serious about her study of God's Word. She read her Bible with a notebook and pen ready to make notes and to write down her thoughts as the Holy Spirit revealed the meaning of the Scriptures. As long as she was able, she attended and participated in the Ladies Tuesday morning Bible and prayer meeting. She was a radiate Christian. I have often talked with her after church as we walked to our cars down the handicap ramp. She loved Jesus with all her heart. She lived to bless others and was faithful as a loyal and committed church member. Her life and legacy will not be forgotten. Melvine and I were privileged to go to the visitation at the funeral home last evening. Our new pastor, Matt Adams, and his wife, Rachel, were present, as well as our former pastor, John Ingham.
It is my understanding that the Rev. Mr. Bill Hayes, a hospice chaplain, will conduct the funeral service today at Bernstein Funeral Home in their chapel.]
