Lima, Peru: The XVIII Pan American Games were held in Lima, Peru from Aug 6-11, 2019.
Alex Sobers (2016 Rio Olympian), represented Barbados and Emmanuel, at the Games, setting another national swimming record for his home country of Barbados.
Sobers competed in 3 events at the Games:
Day 1, Sobers won the 400 LCM freestyle B final with a time of 3:58.39, finishing 9th overall
Day 2, Sobers won the 200 LCM freestyle B final with a time of 1:50.87, finishing 9th overall again and setting the Barbados national record
Day 3, Sobers finished 25th overall in the 100 LCM freestyle with a time of 52.45
