Lighten Up With LaughterI

     It is true that children often say some of the funniest things. I think children today are more intelligent than any previous time in my history.
     I received this true story from one of our subscribers who was one of Stephanie's many friends. She is a wonderful person and has several children. 
Here is a story she sent on Christmas Eve, Eve:

Hey Hugh,
My son said something funny I think your readers may find humorous.
     On a recent return visit to my husband's family we visited many relatives. We visited my husband's father whose dog was sick and had eye medicine he kept telling the kids to avoid when petting. After leaving, we went to visit my husband's grandmother who had recently been transferred to a nearby nursing home. While there, we met her roommate and several of the staff who made her stay there as pleasant as possible. 
     As we leave, my husband thinking of the dog medicine begins to instruct our children, "Now kids, I want you to wash your hands when we get back to the hotel because . . ."
     Before he can finish, my youngest says, "Yes, because we've been hugging old ladies."
