EDMOND, OK – Southwestern Christian University carded a final-round 327 and finished second in the NCCAA Central Region Golf Tournament Tuesday at The Golf Club of Edmond.
The Lady Eagles racked up a final score of 335-327—662 and erased a 13-stroke deficit to catch Colorado Christian and finish runners up to Dallas Baptist (Texas).
Andi McGill led SCU in the final round with a score of 74. McGill’s final score of 86-74—160 was good enough for a ninth place finish individually.
Kayla Witt finished with a total of 81-81—162 to finish 10th overall, while Ashlea Mahan carded 82-83—165 and tied for 11th.
Tori Plumley shot 86-90—176 and Abigail Neel carded 89-89—178 to round out the SCU top-5.
Kara Davis finished with 88-87—175 while playing as an individual.
