Parents give their children names. That name is like a brand for life.
One of my favorite uncles was named Charlie Payne. He gave me a little read wagon when I was 5-years-old. That wagon belonged to me, and I took care of it. I would not allow the rain to fall on it. Charlie McDaniel is exactly five years old.
The LORD has laid Charlie on my heart to pray for him for a miracle of healing. I am asking you to join with me in praying for this little fellow who will one day grow up to be a great man of God. What a testimony he will have to glorify and honor God. You and I can be a vital part of that happening.
The Bible teaches us that God answers our prayers even before we utter them. God invites us to pray. He delights in hearing us ask. His gifts are always good.
Charlie's parents took him to Scottish Rite hospital on Monday (June 24) for a well stay. He has a yearly visit there in Atlanta to check out his ventilator and monitor his CCHS, Congential Central Hypoventilation Syndrome. Wow, that is a mouth full. The doctors are going to be amazed when God heals Charlie of this disease.
If you wish to read about it check out this website, cchsnetwork.org.
Charlie is not too fond of the many cardiovascular tests and other tests they put this little fellow through. I am sure it is a very intense time for him. He was released on Tuesday because I saw Charlie and Clay riding their bikes in the driveway to their home. I have not talked with the parents today.
Thomas and Suzanne McDaniel consider it a joy and a great privilege God has given them to be the parents of these twin boys. They are Christians and love Jesus like we do.
God has placed in my heart this Idea: to enlist you and some 5,999 other Christians who believe in prayer and God's Healing power to make your voices heard in heaven on behalf of little Charlie McDaniel. God is the God of Miracles and the God Who Never Quits. Please join me and thousands of others in petitioning our loving Heavenly Father to heal Charlie for His glory and Charlie's good. I sense we have a window of opportunity to storm heaven with our request for Charlie. Charlie and his brother, Clay, will grow up to be great men for God.
There is an addendum to the first part of John 15:16. Let me quote it for you:
John 15:16
16 You have not chosen He, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it you.
KJV
We are praying to our Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus Christ, His Son. We are asking God to heal Charlie McDaniel for His Glory and for the good of Charlie McDaniel.
God is Sovereign and has the final Word. We can trust God to do what He deems best. So, we trust and obey as we will experience the delights of His love and mercy toward Charlie, his parents and brother, Clay.
Here are the photos of my Little Helpers in my Gardens: Charlie is the boy in the first photo with basil leaves in his hands. The second photo is Clay with the long hair. Since this photo was taken the tomatoes have grown much larger.
