     B. D. Shelton was one of the greatest and most beloved of all the preachers I have known. His style, his class, his holy life help to describe my feelings toward him. He was like an Enoch, Abraham and Moses all wrapped up in one. He glowed with power and wisdom. He preferred others before himself. Above all traits however was his ability to value people. Time will not permit me to tell you of the many times that he encouraged me and placed value on my ministry. I am honored that some 55 years ago he opened his heart and received me as his friend.What greater tribute can be given?
