90 is the number. I made it with the grace of God and his blessings on my life.
When I got up on Wednesday morning I went to the Bible, the Word of God, to get instructions from God's Word to me. It is my divine appointment each day. Things go much better when I seek God early in the morning. When things don't go my way and I have divine interruptions, I can handle it better for I have peace and joy in my heart with God's Word to guide me through the day.
I am blessed to pray for a lot of people by name, and for the needs of others as I learn about them.
So many of you have blessed me with Birthday and Christmas cards and one E-mail card. They have come from all across the United States, all the way to Hawaii, and a few other countries.
Wayne and June Butler are bringing me Arby's sandwich to share my birthday lunch. They are wonderful friends. They look out for me and help me at every turn. They are friends you can count on. I know they love me, and I love them.
Having lived this long and growing up in the Pentecostal Holiness and living in many places with various roles of leadership I have met and know a lot of people. That is good for the editor of Hugh's News.
One day I will pass the baton of being the editor of Hugh's News to someone who knows the IPHC. This is the choice for me as I seek God's help in knowing who to ask to become the editor of Hugh's News. I was offered several opportunties from Methodist Bishops to pastor Methodist Churches as I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary. I chose to stay with the Pentecostal Holiness Church. I am glad I did. Melvine agreed with me as we prayed together about those kinds of matters. What a blessing Melvine was to me and I trusted her advise and wisdom.
Thank you for subscribing to Hugh's News.
It is my joy and pleasure to serve you.
Your friend in all seasons,
