Would you believe a 21-year-old from small town Kentucky almost beat out Adele for the number one spot on iTunes with his performance of "Somebody to Love?"
It’s true! Jordan Smith, a finalist on this season’s The Voice, is singing his heart out not for the fame of his name, but for Another’s. He shared, “My faith is who I am and I wanted to share that with the world.”
Growing up, his parents encouraged him to sing at church. Smith said, “My faith is the thing that gives me strength and that I find joy in. At the end of the day with my problems and concerns, I can turn to God and I can have peace in my situation. That’s been the main thing that’s carried me through this. My relationship with God has kept me grounded and has been my foundation through all of it.”
