One of the greatest songs that was written in recent years entitled "My Tribute" or "To God Be The Glory" was composed by Andraé Crouch.

When the new headquarters buildings were dedicated after being renovated in 1974, Bishop J. Floyd Williams had this great song sung. I was there. Minchew Auditorium was filled to capacity. I remember standing at the wall on the right side of this beautiful auditorium. This song is often played in my mind and heart and I can envision being back there that particular day. Little did I know that a year later, I would resign my commission as a regular Air Force officer and chaplain to move my family to Oklahoma City to be the third president of Southwestern College, now Southwestern Christian University, to succeed Dr. W. R. Corvin. I give God the Glory for all He has done for my family and for Southwestern Christian University and the IPHC.
I hope this song will bless you as it has me and continues to bless me when I sing it, or hear others sing it.
You may read the lyrics of this great Gospel song as you listen to Andraé Crouch sing "To God Be the Glory":
[Stanza]
How can I say thanks
for the things You have done for me?
Things so undeserved,
yet You gave to prove Your love for me;
the voices of a million angels
could not express my gratitude.
All that I am and ever hope to be,
I owe it all to Thee.
[Chorus 1:]
To God be the glory,
to God be the glory,
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.
[Chorus 2:]
With His blood He has saved me,
with His power He has raised me;
to God be the glory
for the things He has done.
[Bridge:]
Just let me live my life,
let it pleasing, Lord to Thee,
and if I gain any praise,
let it go to Calvary.
[Chorus 2]
