Greg had his pre-op on Tuesday, May 4. A nurse did it over the phone with Greg, and with his care giver and me on the line taking notes.
Because Greg has had both Covid-19 Vaccinations he was not required to have the Covid Exam. However, they did extensive blood work.
As of this writing, Greg is to report to Northeast Medical Hospital in Braselton on Wednesday, May 5, at 5:45 a.m. for prostate surgery. His surgery is scheduled at approximately 7:30 a.m. (and that, as you know, is subject to change.) The procedure is called "Turp" or in laymen's language a "Roto-rooter." He will be required to stay over night. Following surgery he is to be assigned to a room. He will be allowed two visitors from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
We are praying this will be the end of having a catheter and foley bag.
Your prayers are valuable and important to us. Thank you for your prayers.
Of course when we pray, we are praying to God and not to man.
God's Word says, "I am the Lord, Who heals you" (Exodus 15:26, NIV).
