I had prepared a special Sunday issue of Hugh's News last Saturday, and for some unknown reason it never was sent until Monday. That has happened before, and apparently we don't have all of the bugs worked out with our new system. You can be sure that Mel Tinney, my webmaster, will work on finding the problem and making a satisfactory solution. Mel is a key player in the production of Hugh's News.
Greg called from his hotel room in Budapest early Sunday morning at 6:20 a.m. The time in Budapest is six hours ahead or earlier than us on the east coast.
Greg reported that his teacher colleague met him at the airport and took him his hotel. Unfortunately, the airlines had lost or misplaced his brand new luggage with all his clothes, dress shoes, transformer and adapters to charge his cell phone. The good news that they found his luggage and brought it to his hotel. Every thing was there, and he was greatly relieved.
He will attend an opera on Tuesday night.
Greg will take all of the teachers out to a nice Hungarian Restaurant and pay the bill. He purchased gifts for each one of them made in USA. When he visited the school, he was surprised to see his photo was up on the bulletin board from when he taught in the '90s. When the teachers saw him they hugged and kissed him.
This visit is far too short. He will have to leave on Friday. However, he will make the best use of his time there in Budapest, Hungary.
We want to thank all of you have prayed for Greg, his safety, his witness, and his conversation with Hungarian teacher friends as well as American missionaries living in Budapest.
