[Editor's Comment: I have known Frank Pearson since 1986 when I became the senior pastor of Tarkenton Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church in Athens, GA. Frank and his wife, Carolyn, were faithful and loyal members of our church. Frank sang in our choir, and with his sisters, Blenda Pearson Smith and Vonnie Pearson Parnell in the Pearson Trio.
Harold had a gifted speaking and singing voice. He could hold his own with the Bill Gaither Vocal Band. He was a member of our church board.
Harold was meticulous in all he did, almost to perfection. He loved to play golf and he was good at it. He watched the pros and copies their style and he made every stroke count. I played golf with him a few times. He and Charles Wilson, who taught Sunday school and was the emcee for our Sunday evening radio live radio broadcast, enjoyed going to the Master's
Golf Tournament in Augusta. Georgia.
It seems to me from my association with Frank Pearson that his life and ministry reflected the application of Micah 6:8
Micah 6:8
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
NKJV
My life is rich in spiritual resources from knowing Harold Pearson. He was a great blessing to me. I look forward to seeing him and Carolina again in heaven.
