It's always a good thing to check with people to see what their desires are. It occurred to me that Frances Presley, widow of the late Jackson Presley, might like for you to contact her on her 90th year of physical life. We know she has a spiritual life that will live eternally since she met the Master, Jesus Christ, many years ago and has been walking with Him daily since then.
Frances Presley is a beautiful Christian lady, and has always been so.
It has been my privilege to know Frances Presley for decades. I remember when Frances and Jackson lived in Birmingham. He was a student at Howard College, now a large Baptist university called Samford University which is located in Homewood. They have a seminary today as well. Well, Jackson was also the pastor of the East Lake Pentecostal Holiness Church. I remember that Jackson and his brothers, Moody and Charles came to help him conduct revival services. My family attended the services, my father and mother, sister and I were present for every service. Jackson asked me to play my trombone with them. Jackson played trombone, Moody played trumpet, and Charles played the piano. What an honor that was for me. The Presleys are great musicians, and their influence upon me was great, and it motivated me to be better than I was, and eventually, I passed an audition after I had joined the Marine Corps and I was in boot camp at Paris Island, SC, that I was selected to play trombone in the Quantico Marine Band, Quantico, Virginia. I was blessed to be stationed there for all three years. I finished my active duty enlistment on August 3, 1956.
For those who would love to contact Frances you may give her a call at this telephone number: 386-760-0450. Or, you may wish to send her a belated birthday card for her 90th birthday. Her mailing address is:
Mrs. Frances Presley
1942 Crane Lakes Blvd.
Port Orange, FL 32128
Frances would love hear from old friends with whom she has lost contact.
