JEFFERSONTOWN, KY -- Last weekend the Emmanuel College Bowling Team took to the road to compete in two tournaments. On Saturday the bowlers competed at the Louisville Classic in Jeffersontown, KY. Here, the men took 2nd place out of 16 teams. Freshman Peyton Smith was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Louisville Classic and lead the men's team with a 226 average.
The men continued action the next day at the Thomas Burris Memorial. Of the 15 teams competing, the Lions once again had a 2nd place finish. This time, Freshman David Hooper lead the men with a 232 average and was named tournament MVP. The men's team set a new school record by shooting an all-time high team game of 1234.
