Dr. Victor A. Crosby, my eye doctor, is retiring after 38 years as a physician.
On Thursday, 24 October 2019, I saw my ophthalmologist for the last time as my physician. My eyes are in excellent condition. There is no diabetes in my eyes, the cataract surgery that he did on both of my eyes eight years ago are clear, and the inoccural lens are working like they should.
I will miss Dr. Crosby, but he assured me that his successor, Dr. Centrael Evans, will bring to the practice exciting new procedures and techniques, with compassion and caring service.
Dr. Evans is a native Athenian and graduated from Cedar Shoals HIgh School. He and his beautiful wife, Sharyl, have three children. He graduated with the M.D. degree from Emory University School of Medicine and did his Ophthalmology residency at SUNY in Buffalo, NY.
Dr. Crosby served as a Flight Surgeon in the Air Force. He is a pilot and has his own airplane he enjoys flying and making trips across country.
I will greatly miss Dr. Crosby, but I am confident I will like his successor.
