[Editor's comment: I am saddened by the death of Jean Long. Her husband, T. Elwood Long, and I are good friends. He is an avid reader of Hugh's News and writes me often. He and I served on the World Missions Ministries Board together. I remember when he was the superintendent or CEO of Falcon Children's Home. He and his first wife always had a delightful musical program for Harvest Train. In addition, Elwood served at the superintendent of the North Carolina Conference.]
