Just a reminder. Time is running out. Heritage Lectures is this weekend. Can you believe it’s already here? God is up to something here. It almost seems like missionaries are invading Falcon. I have heard from 14 missionaries who say they are coming here to sit in on lectures and also to support Dr. Frank Tunstall this weekend as he lectures on The Simultaneous Principle: the History of IPHC Missions – The First 100 Years.
HERITAGE LECTURES 2016
SATURDAY - MAY 21
NC Conference Campus--Falcon, NC
9am - 3pm
Free Event - Light Breakfast & Lunch Included
"THE SIMULTANEOUS PRINCIPLE"
DR. FRANK Tunstall
You're invited! This one-day lecture series will benefit Pastors, Missions Directors, Church Historians and Academics. Benefit from Dr. Tunstall's knowledge of early church history, his extensive research of IPHC missionary work and his discovery of how the 'simultaneous principle' is rooted in the Bible and yields strong impact on foreign fields while strengthening local churches. Academics will gain a much better grasp of the history and theology of missions of the IPHC. Church Historians will come away with a grasp on how to see and include missionary progress that has happened / is happening on foreign fields in the historical narrative of their local churches. Pastors and Mission Directors, of course, will likely be more interested in benefitting from Dr. Tunstall's studies for application purposes at the local church level and that is exactly what we are hoping for!
Please inform us of your plans to attend:
[email protected] --- 910-980-1162
CEU credits available
SOM - 1 course credit with completed work. Please make sure you have followed up with Dr. Woods to adequately prepare.
Take a look at this list of missionaries who have contacted me to say they are coming. I am blown away!
Joe & Elsie Author (served in Africa)
Danny & Judith Williams (currently serving in India)
Ernest & Yvonne Turner (currently serving in Africa)
Debbie Doss (short-term missions trip participant)
Carol Boatman (served in various locations)
Betty Rogers (served on several fields and continues short-term work)
Hobert & Margeurite Howard (served in India 61 years)
Sue Parker (served in Africa with her husband, Jettie)
Hubert & Lois Hoyle (currently serving Latin America)
AND, I just heard that Willard & Yvonne Wagner are thinking of driving over from Georgia.
I can’t stop thinking about what an incredible opportunity this is going to be for key people and the potential ripple effects for generations to come. People who attend are going to be exposed to testimony after testimony and that is exactly what the Archives Ministries Department is built upon – TESTIMONIES!
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
Revelations 12:11
If you are planning to come, please let me know so we can be prepared. Otherwise, would you please help me spread the word to those who would benefit from this opportunity? Also, please pray that God will make the call clear to those who should be here - that their hearts will be open to what he is doing and that the path would be made bright, clear and straight before them to get here.
God bless you! Remember lectures are free. Rooms are available. Just call the NC Conference and let us know you are coming. This training is open to anyone but we feel it will be especially helpful for Missions Directors, Church Historians, those sensing they may be called to missionar work and, of course, Pastors.
