Those of us who attended "King's" and Hillcrest Academy all felt G.T. was their best friend. He gave it all, whether throwing his body to stop an incoming tackler or affirming a fellow player. He was the real deal.
The past few months have been days of recalling all that was G.T. Gunhus. He was, in many ways, a "larger than life guy." Those of us who loved him felt honored to "hang out with him."
Hillcrest was a "high mark" in our lives. We loved G.T. and Ann. He chose the "high road" and gave himself for the sake of his beloved country and the "sake of Christ and His Kingdom." May his family experience the comfort of Jesus at this time of their lives. We love you Ann. Don and Ruthie.
