Janice and Wesley Russ This was to be the last week of radiation treatments for Janice Russ. However, her doctor agreed with Janice that she needs a week off.
Radiation is not an easy thing, and Janice is suffering greatly. Radiation burns the skin and hurts badly.
The Holy Spirit reminded me of what the Apostle Peter wrote about the love, care, and compassion of Jesus. He said this, ". . . casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, NKJV).
I like this rendering of this same verse in The Living Bible: "Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you" (1 Peter 5:7, TLB).
We are encouraged to continue to pray, never faint or give up. Jesus really does care. I believe that!
