Heroes of the Faith ... Pastor Kuyokwa is definitely one of them. There are many great men and women in Africa and the world whose stories are never told.
God knows their commitment and love for Him.
[Editor's Comment: Cheryl Duncan Turner is married to Ernest Turner. They have dedicated their lives, talents and gifts in serving in leadership on the continent of Africa for 33 years. They serve conjointly as the WIN and Continental Director of Africa. They travel extensively is some 28 countries utilizing their ministry gifts to encourage, educate and empower leaders and laity of the IPHC. I have known them for many years. I knew Cheryl's father and mother, the late, Reverends Mont and Florine Duncan. I knew Cheryl's grandparents, Dallas D. and Lula Mae Boyette Freeman. I attended Holmes Bible College with Mary Freeman in the late '50s. What a great missionary family. I am blessed to know such outstanding Christian missionaries of the IPHC.
In addition, I want to thank God for J. Lee Grady who is a Christian journalist who travels all over the world. He, like Dr. Luke in the early church, was able to journal the travels of the Paul and others in the early church and give us the history in the Book of Acts.
Not everyone has that gift of getting and writing dynamic, interesting, and inspirational stories like J. Lee Grady. These stories need to be told. They must be told. Could it be that we need to add to the categories and/or roles of World Missions Ministries a new title of missionaries--Missions Journalist. Just thinking out loud.]
